An upper-deck lobby with working slot machines. A waterfall rising from the main deck to the top deck. Coral Ocean has these, and other, remarkable design features, stemming from her origins in 1994. As our Megayacht News Onboard story details, the ex-Coral Island looks nearly identically today as she did all those years ago, in an extraordinarily timeless fashion.
Tribal art, intricate wood chests with multi-colored pieces, a dramatic stairway sweeping up the center of her aft decks, and an unmistakable profile. They are all due to the creative genius of the late Jon Bannenberg, who worked with her original owner on styling and interior design. They are also due to the original owner himself, who kept her in pristine condition all these years, only selling her recently. A group of owners, which include Lürssen, decided to buy her and offer her for charter, while preserving Bannenberg’s creations. Come take a tour.
