We still have to wait a year before the formal launch. But, the biggest semi-displacement hull to date from Custom Line has come out into sunlight. It belongs to the Custom Line Navetta 42.
The “42” means 42 meters, or 138 feet. That makes the Custom Line Navetta 42 the biggest megayacht from the builder in length. (Next in size is the new Navetta 37, at 121 feet.) However, the 42 is also the biggest in volume, set to displace 300 gross tons.
Since the builder likes its boats to have a family feel, this new model features styling and naval architecture by Zuccon International Project. It’s working with the Ferretti Group’s in-house engineering division, too. The design teams planned the megayacht to make long-range voyages. The Custom Line Navetta 42 should, for example, achieve 3,000 nautical miles or more at 10 knots. Five different engine packages are available, depending on buyers’ preferences.
Buyers also get their preferences for interior and exterior spaces among the four decks. If you like to cruise with a lot of friends and family, you may like the five-stateroom layout below decks. Or, to give people a little more floor space, you can select the configuration with four VIP suites. Either way, the Navetta 42 places your stateroom forward on the main deck.
Also either way, the megayacht comes with a fold-down balcony off the saloon and dining area. You also get a tender garage complete with Ferretti’s own launching and retrieval system. This makes the seven-person crew’s job a little easier when you’re playing all day. The garage is a side-opening stowage area, too. This reserves the full transom for a beach club.
Surely, you’ll enjoy the way the foredeck serves as an extra dining and relaxation zone. You get a sense of the possibilities, here and elsewhere aboard the yacht, in this video.
