Talk about a lasting impression: Lady Lillian is the 35th Benetti Classic 121 to launch since the series started more than a decade ago.
An all-fiberglass megayacht, the Classic 121 features styling by Stefano Righini, who’s responsible for numerous Benettis, measuring numerous LOAs. The semi-custom megayacht also has interior design by François Zuretti. The model gets her name from her LOA in feet, which is nearly the equivalent of 37 meters.
Meant for an owner’s party of 10, Lady Lillian has a traditional layout. All four guest staterooms sit below decks, while the master is on the main deck. Naturally, it’s full beam, too (about 27 feet, or 8.18 meters). Unfortunately, Benetti has not revealed illustrations or photos of the interior. Nor has it provided details on what woods, stones, and other decor materials are aboard. All that it will say is that Lady Lillian has a formal dining area on her second deck, and a more casual eating area on the sundeck. The sundeck additionally holds a barbecue and bar for guests’ refreshment. They can enjoy drinks in the hot tub up here, too. A crew of seven (housed in four cabins) cater to their needs.
Since the series emphasizes moderate speeds, Lady Lillian should see a top speed of 15.1 knots. She’ll be capable of long-range cruising, too. At 12 knots, she should see see 3,400 nautical miles. It all is possible due to the in-house naval architecture and pair of 1,450-hp MTUs. Some relatively shallow destinations may be on her itinerary, given a draft of 7’4” (2.26 meters).
The owner of Lady Lillian, who attended the launch on May 18, takes delivery in July.
