Today sports fans around the United States gather to watch Super Bowl LIII. They’re doing so in a variety of places, like their own living rooms, their friends’ homes, bars, and restaurants. Some, though, might be doing so on the decks of a yacht—in a warm, tropical climate, no less. But, chances are, as beautiful as those yachts may be, they aren’t as impressive as these two new superyachts belonging to NFL team owners.
- Bravo Eugenia. Bravo Eugenia (above) is rumored to belong to Jerry Jones, of the Dallas Cowboys. The 358-footer (109-meter) is among the largest deliveries of 2018, too. She rang in the holiday season in Norway, before returning to Oceanco, her builder, for a few more touches. Among all the superyachts belonging to NFL team owners, she’s the only one with exterior design and naval architecture by Nuvolari-Lenard and BMT Nigel Gee. She’s further the only one to have a hybrid propulsion system, offering multiple operational modes for better efficiency. Bravo Eugenia additionally features two helipads, a sauna, and a beach club. Reymond Langton Design designed the interior with light woods and lacquered surfaces, plus accents of walnut and ebony.
- Lady S. While she’s not yet finished, Lady S (above) is the newest yacht for Washington Redskins’ owner Daniel Snyder. Feadship, her builder, hasn’t disclosed his identity, but Snyder is well-known for owning a previous Lady S. He sold her to new owners last fall. That yacht: 225 feet (68.5 meters). This one, meanwhile, measures 305 feet (93 meters). Among the highlights of the new Lady S are a much-talked-about, two-level IMAX theater. Numerous newspapers have mentioned it, for instance—along with how Congresswoman Elizabeth Warren mentioned it. Specifically, she called out Snyder’s ownership of a multi-million-dollar yacht as proof that he can afford her proposed Ultra Millionaire Tax.
