For the past few days, C2 has been conducting sea trials in the North Sea off Germany. The 11-year-old megayacht still has her striking blue color scheme. However, she is showing off a newly restyled transom, as well as an extended length. She’s grown by more than 25 feet, in fact.
The yacht arrived at the shipyard in mid-January for service work. Originally built in 2008, by Abeking & Rasmussen as well, C2 measured 255’9” (78 meters), with styling as seen below. According to AIS data, her new LOA is 282 feet (86 meters).
We contacted the shipyard for details on what the refit entailed. It did not respond to our request by press time. Regardless, the video below provides some good aerial views of the new additions. Besides an extended aft deck, C2 has a pool flush with her transom. Furthermore, she now has a healthy-size swim platform. Previously no pool or platform existed.
Even with the elongated aft looks, C2 remains true to her initial styling, by Reymond Langton Design.
