A little over a year since hull number one hit the water, hull six of the Custom Line 106 has gotten her first taste of salt water. She is one of 11 megayachts that have launched so far this year for the brand.
The 106 is the second Custom Line series by Francesco Paszkowski Design. She’s a semi-custom series, so owners have free reign for stones, woods, and other materials throughout the decks. The staterooms for eight people in the owners’ party are open to personalization, too. Mix and match VIPs with twins, or make all the staterooms VIPs, for instance. Regardless, you have 2,368 square feet (220 square meters) to make your own overall inside.
Of course, outside is where everyone likes to live while onboard. Hull six of the Custom Line 106 has a few attractive alfresco areas. The bow has two areas, in fact. One is a seating, dining, and sunning space tucked against the wheelhouse. The other is another multi-use place, on the foredeck. Two big sunpads here are perfect for private time at anchor or enjoying the reported 23-knot top speed under standard MTU power. Furthermore, back aft, the fold-down transom expands the usable space for the indoor-outdoor beach club. And, finally, up on the flying bridge, guests can enjoy a bar, sunning, and good conversations. Here, too, the sporty-looking hardtop provides shade from strong rays, yet allows in filtered light via skylights.
Whatever side of the Atlantic she cruises, the future plans for hull six of the Custom Line 106 series may include shallow waters. It’s thanks to a 6’8” (2.03-meter) draft.
On a related subject, the builder expects to launch eight more yachts before the end of the year.
