Since the series debut in 2018, the Custom Line 120 has attracted owners due to her combination of a sporty soul and a luxury cruiser. Following launches like Erolia earlier this year, the latest in the line has splashed at the Ferretti Group’s Super Yacht Yard.
The Custom Line 120 is a flying-bridge yacht letting enthusiasts prioritize island hopping and visiting multiple destinations relatively quickly. Even with a reported range of 1,100 nautical miles—about the equivalent of traveling from Maine to Florida—at 11 knots, the yacht handily cruises quickly, at 21 knots. Top speed, meanwhile, is about 25 knots, with twin MTU diesels. Knowing these figures, it’s no wonder that the Ferretti Group’s in-house naval architects and engineers borrowed ideas from raceboats for the hull design. The notion pairs well with the smooth lines and overall energetic styling from Francesco Paszkowski.
Of course, what really has attracted clients to the series is the ability to design the decks the way they like to live. The Custom Line Atelier, the brand’s own interior-design department, works side by side with owners. Everything from choosing wall paneling to ensuring custom-made furnishings suit the spaces comes through collaboraton. Without question, one favorite area is the indoor-outdoor lounge, the combination of the main saloon and the main aft deck. In fact, it encompasses 861 square feet (80 square meters) of entertaining, dining, lounging, and relaxing space. Twenty-five feet (about 7.6 meters) of beam, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows along the main deck, make indoor-only time enjoyable. Speaking of windows, the two aft-deck panels tilt up to open, for a different way to enjoy fresh breezes.
Additionally, buyers have five staterooms—including the master suite—among 19 overall rooms spread across three decks. The final touch to personalize could very well be the hull paint. Go with white, if you’re a traditionalist, or go bold with blue, black, or another eye-catching color.
