One minute is all it takes to get a sense of the space and way you can relax onboard the Ferretti 1000. She is becoming the new Ferretti Yachts flagship. Come on this virtual tour to see what a first-time partnership between the shipyard and fellow Italian firm IdeaItalia have in store.
When the builder announced that the megayacht would take the top spot in the Ferretti Yachts lineup, it reminded clients that it is staying true to its flying-bridge roots. Additionally, it reminded them that the yacht would have the same emphasis on speed as her smaller sisters. The maximum speed, for example, should be 28 knots. However, simultaneously, the shipyard knows some customers crave differences. Therefore, The Ferretti 1000 delivers in a few ways.
Since so many cruisers spend time outside, the new Ferretti Yachts flagship carves out sitting, sunning, and dining areas in practically every corner. The foredeck relaxation space is particularly different than any previous model from the yard. In fact, all the other current models have large sunpads on the foredeck and a small seating area forward. Instead, this time two big L-shape settees, which convert to sunpads with full-in cushions, sit forward to port and starboard. Yet another lounge is aft, up a few steps. Neither impedes the crew, since the entire foredeck is terraced, designating distinct areas to everyone.
Although the peek inside is ever so brief, the new Ferretti Yachts flagship shows off differences here, too. The yacht is the first wide-body design for the brand. With a 22’3” (6.81-meter) beam, the saloon and the galley (with a drop-down partition to the saloon) as well as the master suite get the biggest benefits.
Hull number one should be ready for personal viewing in about a year.
