The family members who cruise aboard Baglietto’s largest delivery to date have plenty of relaxation areas to enjoy. Six staterooms ensure sweet dreams, for instance, and one of the rooms can convert to a massage area or a playroom. As much as these are warm and welcoming, however, a few areas rival them for attention. In fact, three video walls aboard Severin°s make it clear that movie nights, sports matches, and more are high priorities.
The 180-foot (55-meter) megayacht, christened last summer, features the AV, IT, and CCTV expertise of Videoworks. The Italy-based company has more than 700 yacht projects to its credit, over the course of 20 years. These days, as much as owners and their captains prioritize security solutions with Videoworks, audio and video need to dazzle the senses. They therefore also prioritize high-definition TVs and movie screens, along with phenomenal sound systems.
To that end, one of the video walls aboard Severin°s sits in the beach club (top). It measures just over 64 square feet (6 square meters) and contains multiple 4K-resolution monitors. Here, the owners and guests can tune into their favorite TV shows, watch movies, or enjoy an assortment of changing scenes.
Yet another impressive viewing area is on the sundeck. Actually, make that two viewing areas. A 55-inch television (made for the outdoors) rises from fixed furniture, ideally positioned to face the lounge area. Alternately, it rotates 180 degrees, to face guests soaking in the pool.
Finally, the last of the video walls aboard Severin°s is in the aptly named Cinema Hall (above). On the upper deck, the room features a 90-inch screen, along with a 4K projector. Movie buffs can control operations via an iPad. When the movie’s over, the screen and projector tuck neatly into the overhead.
Now that’s what we call entertainment.
