With a little over a week left to get your Christmas shopping done, you may be pondering what to get for the fellow cruising enthusiasts in your life. Likewise, they may wonder what to get you. Never fear, this list of six superyacht gifts to get or ask for has you covered. We’ve pulled together some of the most attractive options for those of you with discriminating tastes.
BORKUMRIFF II
Nothing says “I love you” more than buying your special someone a superyacht. Borkumriff II (above) is one of the most famous sailing superyachts, too. The 102-foot (31-meter) schooner saw construction in Germany in 1982 and looks as if she stepped straight out of the yard today. She underwent an extensive 18-month rebuild in 2009, with additional refits over the past two years. The latter projects gave Borkumriff II a new interior with high-gloss warm woods, new sails, and a black-and-cream exterior paint scheme. She accommodates eight in four staterooms, plus has two crew cabins. Furthermore, she comes with a classic wooden runabout tender—a bonus when it comes to superyacht gifts, wouldn’t you agree? Currently in The Netherlands, about an hour from the international airport in Amsterdam, Borkumriff II is in the central agency of YachtFull.
OLD TOWN CANOE
If a new yacht isn’t on your list, how about another watertoy instead? Since 1898, Old Town Canoe has been hand-making wooden canoes along the Maine waterfront. In fact, it’s the world’s oldest and largest manufacturer of canoes, as well as kayaks (above). Some of its decades-old canoes are still plying the local waters of its location along the Penobscot River as well. Canoes range from $709.99 to $1,899.99, all with multiple color options. Kayaks, meanwhile, range from a $449.99 child-size to a motorized $4,199.99 version you can pilot with a Bluetooth remote. They come in various colors as well.
SEA-DOO INFLATABLE SUP
Sea-Doo doesn’t just make PWCs. It has this 11’6” (3.5-meter) inflatable stand-up paddleboard, a hot ticket item for the holidays. Since stowage space is always at a premium aboard any size yacht, note that it folds up into a wheel-equipped backpack. Sea-Doo says the long, wide design provides better stability. Additionally, the adjustable, three-piece paddle tailors to riders’ height. Use it for some alone time, paddling with your pet, yoga, and more. Price: $729.99.
VIDEOWORKS POP-UP SPEAKERS
Videoworks, one of the leading providers of audio-visual, entertainment, IT, lighting, and comfort solutions in yachting, premiered the Pop Up Speaker (above) at September’s Monaco Yacht Show. This retractable, waterproof speaker suits indoor or alfresco areas where you don’t want to see equipment, or exposed cables and cords. The housing is just 29 inches (75 centimeters) high, and thanks to customizable materials and colors, it can blend into your decor. Also noteworthy, the opening and closing mechanism operates silently, allowing you to enjoy your music or movies.
THE ART OF TABLESCAPING BOOK
Our list of six superyacht gifts includes two books, this one comes from Bugsy Drake, a.k.a. the renowned Queen of Theme among superyacht stews. (The New York Times dubbed her “perhaps the greatest tablescape artist who has ever lived.”) The 224 pages of The Art of Tablescaping (below) contain rich, full-page images of Drake’s most iconic tablescapes, with instructions on replicating them. No need to be an expert designer; she walks you through simple steps. Furthermore, she shares tips for music, cocktails, and more to adhere to the party themes. Even some of Drake’s fellow stews in the industry have bought her book, to step up their own game. Hardcover, $27.95.
SAIL AWAY WITH ANNA CABANNA CHILDREN’S BOOK

Her book Sail Away With Anna Cabanna captures that spirit, teaching kids about sailing through the adventures of Anna Cabanna and her friends Noah Balboa and Maurice the Wise Mouse.
