Custom Line has already launched essentially one new megayacht in each month of the year so far. Launch number five of 2022, whose owner has christened her Renewal 3, is simultaneously a significant first. She is the first Custom Line Navetta 33 to hit the water since January.
The launch ceremony, which also included a blessing from a priest and her christening, took place on April 11. The 108-footer (33-meter) features four decks in keeping with the semi-custom series’ style. With a top speed around 15 to 16 knots, the Navetta 33 is for long-range, leisurely cruising. Depending on the power package—three are available—she sees a range of 1,150 to 1,200 nautical miles. Custom Line does not indicate which engine this particular owner, a European, requested. Regardless, the all-fiberglass megayacht does feature a bulbous bow, for better seakeeping and efficiency. Naval architecture comes from the Ferretti Group Engineering Department and Strategic Product Committee. The owner’s team of engineers, naval architects, and other professionals contributed to the design and construction oversight.
Speaking of design, the interior of Renewal 3 consists of accommodations for eight guests below decks. Their staterooms, plus the full-beam master suite on the main deck, show off a combination of contrasting woods. Grey-stained joinery, in which the veins stand out in white, covers the walls and comprises furniture. It stands out against the dark-brown tone for soles. Additionally, the owner selected satin-finished metal and Arabescato Carrara marble, which includes soft greys and whites. Overall, Renewal 3 treats her guests to a contemporary setting, thanks to a collaboration between the owner and Custom Line’s in-house designers.
