New superyachts only launch once, right? Attitude actually celebrated two launches this year at Baglietto. While the technical launch took place in March, her formal launch and christening just occurred last week. The latter took place with her owner, his family, and friends on hand, too.
In fact, the owner and guests weren’t able to be at the shipyard back in March. Therefore, the celebration was all the sweeter last week as the 134’5” (41-meter) lowered into the water.
As hull number one of Baglietto’s DOM133 line, the megayacht is an entirely aluminum project. Additionally, this means styling and naval architecture are by Studio Vafiadis. Made for transatlantic cruising, Attitude further is made for relatively shallow-water cruising. She draws just seven feet (2.15 meters). A bulbous bow aids in seakeeping.
Wherever her owner and his family travel, they can relax in an ambience custom created by Ezequiel Farca. Notably, Farca says, he had a challenge on his hands in the beginning. It’s because the pandemic prevented him from physically seeing the yacht. “However, we must say that the essence of the project and the people who were part of it made this feeling almost seamless,” he adds.
Although Farca and Baglietto are saving most details for Attitude’s debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, some facts are available. A beam of 29 feet (8.7 meters), for example, should make interior lounges welcoming. It’s especially true of the main saloon, with floor-to-ceiling glass. Of course, owners and guests can’t wait to spend time out on deck. Attitude should not disappoint, considering a few key features. The sundeck, for instance, has a pool. Yet another pool—an infinity pool, in fact—should be the center of attention within the open-air beach club. It’s a two-level area fully aft onboard. Even when not in use, the pool remains a focal point, since the floor rises to add usable deck space.
If you cannot see Attitude at the Cannes show, she’ll appear next later that month at the Monaco Yacht Show.
