While it’s just a year old, UK-based Falcon Tenders is making waves (pardon the pun). Having delivered its first one-off project last year, it recently inked additional deals. Two Falcon Tenders custom limousine tenders will be in their owners’ hands within the next two years.
Falcon Tenders, from co-founders Mark Pascoe and Dean Stoneman, specializes in highly detailed, high-performance craft. Having debuted at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show with its first delivery, the team has abundant experience with custom superyacht tenders and even offshore racing.
The company is revealing scant details about the newly signed projects. However, one of the Falcon Tenders custom limousine tenders measures 31 feet (9.5 meters) LOA. The other, meanwhile, is a little longer, at nearly 33 feet (10 meters) LOA. Both are enclosed designs, too. Additionally, styling and interiors for each are from Falcon Tenders’ in-house studio. Naturally, the owners want the overall aesthetics to complement the mothership. And, they want the tenders to fit in a dedicated garage. Naval architecture is from All Seas Design, a firm that has worked with a variety of production and custom builders, including Wally. The smaller of the two tenders will see delivery next year, while the larger has a delivery date in 2024.
In the meantime, Falcon Tenders points to Miss Wonderly (pictured) as an example of what it can do. The 34’8” (10.6-meter) is the project that appeared at the Monaco Yacht Show last year. Construction-wise, she employs lightweight foam-sandwich methods, along with fairing and painting to true superyacht standards. Sustainability is important to the team as well. So, Miss Wonderly—further for sale—features reclaimed teak decking and bamboo veneers inside. Finally, and unusually for a tender, she has a diesel-electric propulsion system. Miss Wonderly can take guests to and from shore on electric, emission-free power therefore when wanted. She also can plug in when back aboard her mothership or self-charge her batteries.
“I have always been driven by fresh idea and concepts,” Pascoe notes. He says the two new Falcon Tenders custom limousine tenders carry on that spirit. In fact, he and his team “are excited to push boundaries and offer something totally exclusive to both superyacht owners.”
