Having built a few large catamarans already, VisionF Yachts is expanding its size range. It has the first project in its VisionF 100 yacht series set for delivery to a customer in early 2025. Additionally, because it anticipates more buyers coming forward, it’s starting hull number two for delivery around the same time.
Typically, VisionF Yachts constructs its catamarans of aluminum. This time, however, it’s employing Kevlar composite, for lighter weight along with strength characteristics. Otherwise, the VisionF 100 yacht will follow in the footsteps of the Turkish shipyard’s smaller models, like the VisionF 80 BLCK. Specifically, the series is entirely an in-house design, plus offers a shallow draft for accessing a variety of islands and sheltered bays.
Of course, the twin-hull configuration offers significant space advantages, too. With an LOA of 100 feet, the VisionF 100 yacht has a wide beam of 39 feet (12 meters). Additionally, the open-plan saloon and dining area provide 1,076 square feet (100 square meters) of entertaining and relaxation. Equally inviting, sliding-glass doors to each side of the saloon bring the great outdoors inside. Plus, the bulwarks fold down, for an even more voluminous feel and enjoyable experience.
Naturally, the shipyard is building the series on a semi-custom basis. You therefore can request a wide variety of stateroom options in the twin hulls for your friends and family. The in-house design team does, though, believe you’ll want to keep your stateroom forward on the main deck. This gives you a 323-square-foot (30-square-meter) private area, further with private access to the foredeck.
Speaking of the foredeck, VisionF can equip it with a glass-bottomed hot tub. Picture you and a guest or two taking in the views all around, as well as beneath your feet between the hulls. Enjoy the views aft, too, with an aft-deck settee whose backrest can flip toward a fold-down terrace over the transom. Or, enjoy sunning while cruising (top speed should be 22 knots) up on the sundeck. Nearly 1,250 square feet (116 square meters) is yours to arrange with settees, sunpads, a bar, and a dining table.
