The sixth project in the Mulder ThirtySix series, the yacht Seaflower is now in her owners’ hands and on her maiden voyage in the Med.
The Mulder ThirtySix series deliveries include Calypso (below) and Soulmates, the latter belonging to an American owner. Since hull number one premiered in 2017, the series has met with success relatively swiftly. At 118 feet (36 meters) and with all-aluminum construction, the Mulder ThirtySix offers a semi-custom five- or six-stateroom interior. Additionally, the sporty styling and 298-gross-ton volume are attractive for private owners and charter clients alike.
The owners of the yacht Seaflower took advantage of personalizing their project in several ways. Firstly, they chose the five-stateroom configuration, which naturally includes a main-deck master stateroom location. These owners have a study in the suite, helpful for keeping contact with business and family back home. They might get distracted, though, with the views out the windows on both sides of the master suite.
Throughout their yacht, the owners created a peaceful ambience with Vickers Studio (which designed alfresco areas, too). In saloons, staterooms, and other gathering spaces, for instance, whitewashed oak with brass trim, similarly subdued fabric wall panels, and patterned carpeting set the mood. There is, however, one exception to the rule, the vibrant dining area. Fabrics with pops of reds, yellows, and greens catch guests’ eyes on a feature wall.

When the owners and their guests want to soak up their surroundings, the yacht Seaflower offers several suitable alfresco areas. Dining, for example, can take place on the sundeck or the main aft deck, the latter having two tables. Sunbeds and a big settee occupy the foredeck. Of course, the owners also requested a beach club, along with a fold-down balcony to starboard on the main deck.
Finally, a notable first for this Mulder ThirtySix. She’s the first in the series whose engines comply with the IMO’s Tier III engine-emissions requirements. Top speed should be 17 knots, and cruising speed should be 15 knots.
If you’re interested in the Mulder ThirtySix series, you can book a visit aboard Seaflower at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show. In the meantime, hull number seven is under construction.
