The latest in the successful Codecasa 43 superyacht series is less than a year away from completion. Going by her hull number for now, the Codecasa C124 yacht has arrived in Viareggio, Italy for fit out and finishing.

The sixth in the series, this project started construction on spec at Codecasa’s facility in Pisa, Italy. The shipyard chose to start her on spec given the ongoing demand from the international yacht-buying market, plus her size. The 141-footer (43-meter) is among just a few yachts in this size range featuring a steel hull, rather than an aluminum or fiberglass one.
As has been the case for a number of megayachts from the shipyard, the Codecasa C124 yacht is an entirely in-house design. This includes naval architecture as well as styling, with a vertical bow being significantly distinguishing. The overall trideck profile is pretty traditional, though without being overly classical and therefore risking being too tied to a particular period. the suggested interior layout and design.

Codecasa’s in-house designers came up with the suggested interior layout as well, which helped attract the owner earlier this year. Accommodations for 10 people spread across two decks, as you would expect. Specifically, the master suite is forward on the main deck, further being full beam. The remaining eight guests get four staterooms below decks. Although Codecasa made potential buyers aware that two of the guest staterooms could additionally have Pullman berths, so far there’s no word as to whether the owner is choosing to incorporate them.
Since the Codecasa C124 yacht should be capable of 4,000 nautical miles at 11 knots, the owner and guests will be able to enjoy a variety of anchorages. The large windows complementing the main saloon as well as sundeck and alfresco seating areas will be the perfect places from which to take in the sights.

Manned by a crew of nine, the megayacht remains on pace for delivery next summer.
