Since introducing the Fast series a few years ago, Extra Yachts has continued to add and redefine models. The latest is the Extra X106 Fast yacht, promising top and cruise speeds that will do more than just turn heads.

The Fast range, which includes the X90 Fast yacht, focuses on performance-oriented, volume- and space-prioritizing projects. In fact, triple MAN engines with waterjets should allow the Extra X106 Fast yacht to cruise at 30 knots and top out at 40 knots. Carbon-composite construction helps to keep weight down, also benefitting performance.
As for volume and space, they rival those of larger yachts. For instance, with the new Extra X106 Fast model, the open-air, terraced aft deck spreads out over 915 square feet (85 square meters). This comes in an LOA of 106 feet (32.3 meters). Specifically, the aft deck has three levels. Firstly, there’s the sunning/swimming area right at the water’s edge, including a transformer platform. Secondly is the seating area, with facing settees and fold-down bulwarks. (Those bulwarks, by the way, expand the beam from 25 feet/7.6 meters to 29 feet/9 meters.) Lastly, just outside the doors to the interior, you get a dining area. Conveniently, the galley is just inside, plus has a lowering window to make serving easier. Every Fast megayacht has this feature, too.

Additionally, the Extra X106 Fast yacht flying bridge boasts big, usable space. In total, the deck is nearly 538 square feet (50 square meters). Ensuring owners and guests can spend much of the day here, Extra Yachts outfits it with a built-in observation settee fully forward. The standard layout further includes a bar, a dining area beneath the hardtop, and sunning/seating aft. Since the series is semi-custom, owners can re-arrange the deck as they wish.
Similarly, owners can personalize the interior, which includes five staterooms for you and your guests. Naturally, the master suite is forward on the main deck. The Extra X106 Fast yacht makes use of half deck levels to maximize headroom while nestling the suite here. In fact, a lower lounge area in the suite has huge headroom of nearly 9’8” (3 meters). Having a skylight directly overhead is a bonus, too.

With the option of pullman berths in two of the guest staterooms, the newest Fast series superyacht offers attractive flexibility. A crew of four can manage her, from the raised pilothouse to tender operations and more.
