Surfing devotees dream of riding waves in the Maldives, Seychelles, Micronesia, and Fiji, checking each off their list in short succession. Audacious adventurers set their sights on icy high latitudes like Greenland, meanwhile, heading onward through the Northwest Passage. Until now, no yacht charter has put such ambitious opportunities together, offering the chance to reserve multiple immersive journeys with one yacht and crew. The Solace Odyssey yacht charter experience makes these and more possible. Better yet, the motoryacht Solace has multi-country itineraries spread over seasons or years, all connected by a common storytelling thread.

It’s all thanks to the creative vision of the owners, the crew, and EYOS Expeditions. They realized that while chartering is an extraordinary vacation, generally speaking the industry-wide approach is the same. Namely, cruising and travel enthusiasts are offered one-week experiences in a single country or close-together countries. Considering the 182-foot (56-meter) Solace isn’t your average motoryacht, bigger and bolder opportunities open up. A Feadship launched as Twizzle, she headed straight from the shipyard 20 years ago on a three-year circumnavigation. She’s undergone significant refits since then, with her adventure-oriented credentials remaining intact. Solace’s current owners have her in the midst of a major refit, too. It’s in preparation for yet another three-year, uninterrupted global voyage beginning late this year.

That’s where EYOS’ expertise and your imagination come together. The Solace Odyssey features six chartering segments—periods of about three months apiece in different regions. Instead of booking a week in one area, however, you can string together multiple segments. Each therefore builds upon the previous trips. In fact, whether a personal passion, cultural curiosity, or geographic curiosity (or all of the above) drives you, your itineraries follow suit. EYOS crafts your experiences, a.k.a. “chapters,” with you, ultimately making The Solace Odyssey yacht charter a story rather than just a week’s vacation.

The segments start this winter. Specifically, they are:
- Winter 2025/26 – UAE and Maldives
- Summer 2026 – Seychelles, Mozambique, and Madagascar
- Winter 2026/27 – Raja Ampat, Palau, Yap, Philippines, and Japan
- Summer 2027 – PNG, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, and French Polynesia
- Winter 2027/28 – Antarctica and Patagonia
- Summer 2028 – Greenland, Baffin Island, and Eastern Northwest Passage.

To spark your imagination, EYOS has a few suggestions for The Solace Odyssey. For instance, as mentioned above, surfers can pursue the action from the Maldives to Fiji on a Surfing Odyssey. If meeting indigenous people and seeing their way of life resonates, a Cultural Odyssey might appeal. Here, you can meet the tribes of Papua New Guinea and the Inuit communities in Greenland. For exploring the wilds of the world, meanwhile, a Frontier Odyssey can incorporate the Aldabra atoll in the Seychelles. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to world’s largest giant tortoise population. The same odyssey can include equally remote regions like Antarctica and the Northwest Passage (above).

Naturally, EYOS guides will accompany you on your version of The Solace Odyssey. The guides have abundant first-hand experience in each location, ensuring that you and your family learn as much as you wish. The first people to book segments get to shape the routing as well. Furthermore, multi-segment bookings open the door to more personalized routings, possibly even more experiences.

From on-land excursions to diving, fishing, and more, including aboard specialized tenders and toys (above), EYOS intends imagination to be the only limit. “EYOS’ mission has always been to bring clients a new level of understanding and discovery in the world’s most remote and wild regions,” notes Ben Lyons, the CEO. “Working with Solace, we are elevating the expedition charter experience.”
