Those three adjectives may seem strange for Henk De Vries, head of Feadship’s Royal De Vries, to use in reference to one of his shipyard’s megayachts. But when that megayacht is Venus, the ultra-modern and ultra-debated boat commissioned by the late Steve Jobs, it makes sense. For the first time, Feadship is not just commenting on the megayacht, but also about what it was like working with Jobs.
In this interview with Bloomberg News, De Vries says Jobs was a tough client: “When you have an owner who says every time, ‘No, you can do better than that,’ and ‘Do we need this?’ Everything was questioned, so that makes it very challenging.”
