Here’s the third—and largest—Picchiotti motoryacht from Perini Navi so far, Grace E. The 239’5” (73-meter) megayacht is part of the Picchiotti Vitruvius series.
If you’ve been following this motoryacht series, you’ll recall that the first two Vitruvius yachts were Exuma and Galileo G, which launched in 2010 and 2011, respectively. Grace E has a similar hull design and profile, also being built entirely of aluminum. However, unlike the two previous megayachts, Grace E features diesel-electric propulsion with azipods. Since the Vitruvius series was founded upon the idea of long-range, efficient cruising, it’s a further step in that direction. Perini Navi says Grace E should see a 16½-knot cruise speed.
Of course, modern-day megayachts tote a variety of toys, too, and Grace E is no different. Though Perini Navi does not say what will be aboard, we do know that Grace E will tote a Cockwells tender. It measures 31’2” (9.5 meters) and underwent sea trials this summer, as the video in the link reveals.
The owner and guests of Grace E will have a few special features to enjoy, such as an entire “wellness deck,” a.k.a. the upper deck. There, you’ll find a gym, sauna, and even hydrotherapy equipment.
Once full photos are available of this and the rest of the interior, by Remi Tessier, we’ll have a feature story.
