MySky is the latest hand-over from Heesen Yachts. The 167’7” (51.1-meter) megayacht was delivered prior to the holidays.
With a beam of 31’5” (9.6 meters), MySky bears a decidedly modern interior design by Erick van Egeraat, a Dutch architect known for residential and commercial structures, interior design, and product design. Backlit white onyx, black marble, and Makassar ebony are used throughout the yacht, as are tones of black and white in other materials. This view of the main-deck dining area gives you a hint of what’s in store aboard. Not visible is a nearly 65-square-foot (six-square-meter) LED screen in the adjacent bar and lounge area. MySky further has a white-leather seating area in the skylounge. It rotates to face aft and let the guests (12 are accommodated aboard) take in the views.
As you’d expect, MySky has plenty of sunning spaces on the sundeck, but also a convertible space forward of the bridge. When not being used by sun-worshippers on loose lounges, it’s a helipad. The owner of MySky further requested a hot tub (naturally) on the sundeck and a gym.
Twin MTUs permit a reported top end close to 16 knots (under half load). Heesen says MySky sees a range of 3,200 nautical miles at 12 knots. Best range comes at 10 knots: 5,400 nautical miles.
