Owners seeking ways to spend more time with friends and family can see that dream become reality next winter season. The Heesen Project Gemini is on schedule for completion in October 2022.
A spec project available to personalize, the megayacht is the sixth build in the Heesen 55M Steel series. The 180-footer therefore features the proven fast-displacement hull of her predecessors. The shipyard and naval-architecture teams anticipate a maximum speed of 15½ knots and a best trange of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots. It’s plenty to depart Europe on delivery and head straight for the sunny, warm beaches of the Caribbean for Christmas and New Year’s celebrations.
The Heesen Project Gemini has quintessentially appealing amenities. These include a beach club at the waterline and a full-beam main-deck master suite. However, since her hull and superstructure just joined together, as you’ll see in the video, the layout is still open to change. Heesen and design studio Luca Dini Design can, for instance, reconfigure the five below-deck staterooms as you wish. The suggested warm ambience, coming from Tay wood and leather on walls and other surfaces, can change, too.
Regardless of choosing a contemporary versus classic décor, or making rooms larger or more intimate, the Heesen Project Gemini has features no one will want to change. For instance, floor-to-ceiling glass makes the main deck bright and inviting. Those big panes benefit the master suite, too. Better yet, in the current suggested layout, the master suite is an elbow-room-friendly 893 square feet (83 square meters). Add in a sky lounge for relaxing, movie watching, and/or cocktails, and let the memory making begin.
