The first hull in the big and beamy 100 Sunreef Power lowered into the water at Sunreef Yachts’ facility in Gdansk, Poland. She’s one of the largest-length and largest-volume powered megayachts in its history.
Coming in at 94 feet (28.63 meters) overall, the 100 Sunreef Power keeps true to the builder’s history of offering nearly full free reign to arrange alfresco and interior areas the way you wish. The owners of this particular launch, for instance, have accommodations for a party of 10. They also have a gym inside, as well as a custom-designed bar. Of course, the rose-gold superstructure paint and grey-painted hull should be the first hints that the owners wanted something truly suiting the way they like to live.
Besides the stability that catamarans offer, the immense usable space attracts a lot of people. The owners of the 100 Sunreef Power have 44-foot-wide (13.5-meter-wide) deck areas to enjoy. Likely to get a good amount of use outside, for example, is the main aft deck. It is entirely devoted to dining and relaxing, enjoying good conversations with friends and family. Simply enjoying the view at anchor should be popular, too. Just below, meanwhile, the hydraulic swim platform can lower to make launching the watertoys from the garage easier. (On a related side note, Sunreef Yachts has included a refueling station for the PWCs here.) Furthermore, after the toys are in the water, the swim platform can stay level with the twin hulls to make the garage more of a beach club.
When everyone just wants to relax in good company, though, the bow may be the place to be. A U-shape seating and dining area, with two tables, is so large that the entire owners’ party can gather and still have some elbow room. It’s sunken, too. For more privacy, the owners can retreat to the flying-bridge hot tub. The deck area is large enough to accommodate sunpads, seating, and a dining area as well.
Sunreef will complete final outfitting and conduct sea trials within the next several weeks. It hasn’t yet disclosed the anticipated speeds from the 1,300-hp engine package.
