Many a mariner has rued misty morning fog. Those weather conditions made for a far more interesting scenario in the early morning hours today in The Netherlands, however. They contributed to the air of mystery surrounding Feadship Project 823. The partially completed megayacht slipped out of her initial construction shed, in preparation for the next developmental steps.
Unfortunately, Feadship Project 823 remains under a confidentiality agreement. Therefore, the design teams of record for her exterior styling and her interior accoutrements remain undisclosed. Even with this, though, the builder is permitted to reveal that her length is 221 feet (67.4 meters).
Additionally, we do know that the megayacht is under tow from the hull and superstructure shed in Slob to the Royal Van Lent shipyard. There, Feadship Project 823 will remain throughout the rest of this year for her final technical and interior fit out. She’ll then celebrate her formal ceremonial launch sometime next year.
The move comes just days after Feadship launched Juice, a 233-footer (71.1-meter) belonging to an avid art aficionado. For those of you keeping track of hull numbers, Juice is Feadship Project 820.
