If you spend enough time researching and reading boat names, you’ll find many an owner who puts a clever spin on a nameboard. The owners of Gerry’s Ferry are the latest. This fun-loving American family’s creative approach to her name is matched only by the imaginative approach to the interior.
Gerry’s Ferry is the latest launch in the Custom Line 106 series, which premiered in 2019. Styling and interior design therefore are from Francesco Paszkowski Design. The Custom Line Atelier further worked with the owners for the interior. Engineering and naval architecture are from the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, as is customary for several of the Ferretti Group brands.

Since the Custom Line 106 is a semi-custom series, buyers can arrange and outfit the relaxation spaces the way that best suits their personality. The owners of Gerry’s Ferry have a fondness for red, so the bold color is in abundance throughout the megayacht. In fact, it’s not just in fabrics and other decorative items. It’s in structural components of the yacht, too. Considering the Custom Line 106 offers 2,368 square feet (220 square meters) of interior space, red certainly rules onboard. It’s in the master suite, forward on the main deck, and the guest accommodations for eight people below decks.
Custom Line is putting the finishing touches onboard, and preparing Gerry’s Ferry for sea trials. The shipyard anticipates a 23-knot maximum speed with MTU power. (For customers who crave more speed, however, the optional engine package should allow for a top end of 26 knots.)
With a 6’8” (2.03-meter) draft, Gerry’s Ferry will (pardon the pun) be capable of ferrying the family around shallow waters. Delivery takes place in the springtime. They’ll have several alfresco areas from which to take in the views as well. These range from the bow sunpads to the shaded flying-bridge bar.
