While Vittoria Yachts is just two years old, it intends to stand out with the Veloce 32 RPH. The spec superyacht celebrated her keel-laying ceremony at the yard’s headquarters in Adria, in northeastern Italy.
Vittoria Yachts is the yachting brand of Cantiere Navale Vittoria, a shipbuilder whose history dates back more than a century. The family-run yard has delivered about 900 vessels, including aluminum fast patrol vessels.
Not coincidentally, Vittoria Yachts is drawing upon that specific experience for the 105-foot (32-meter) Veloce 32 RPH. In fact, Sergio Cutolo, the founder of Hydro Tec, says he designed her reverse-angle windshield to look like that of the yard’s fast patrol boats. “Aside from adding to her aggressive look, it also affords perfect visibility,” he explains. Michele Zorzenon, Vittoria Yachts’ managing director, says, “Our goal is to meet the needs of owners who want a real vessel built from metal without having to compromise on the cruising speeds typically offered by GRP craft.” The Veloce 32 RPH promises a top speed of 20 knots, with twin 1,900-hp MANs.
Envisioned as a typical Med cruiser, the Veloce 32 RPH further has a good deal of alfresco space among her three decks. To keep a connection to the great outdoors, several windows and doors onboard slide open, too. Since the interior is available for personalization, buyers can arrange the interior as they so wish. As a starting point, though, Vittoria Yachts plans on a main-deck master suite. It also will use Poltrona Frau leathers and furnishings for a complete “Made in Italy” ambience. Additionally, the beach club has fold-down sides for more waterside enjoyment. The garage, with a side hatch, turns into a lounging area, too, when the toys are in the water. The 23’6” (7.2-meter) beam and good headroom throughout should lend a roomy feel.
The yacht should be complete in January 2024. On a related note, Vittoria Yachts also has a Bow Sprit series, again from Hydro Tec. The first design, a 164-footer (50-meter), shows off explorer-like lines.
