The late John Lennon and Paul McCartney were prolific song writers for The Beatles. One particular yacht owner is similarly prolific in his admiration for their work, and for buying yachts. Amels’ Come Together is his latest prized possession.
Seeing delivery last month, she is the first Amels 60, featuring styling by Espen Øino. Abundant eyefuls at that styling come courtesy of the video here. From trapezoidal windows to a teak-striped transom, the superyacht certainly stands out.
Stemming from his own cruising experience and those of charter guests, the owner establishes a serene scene throughout the decks. Naturally finished woods and soft, sandy tones carry on throughout the saloon, the upper-deck bar, and the guest staterooms below. Alfresco areas take guests from daytime relaxation to nighttime enjoyment, too. The sundeck is perhaps best at this, with sun lounges and a hot tub for indulging from dawn ‘til dusk. A quick shower and clothes change prepares guests for going back to the sundeck for nighttime movies, thanks to a screen capable of setup.
Perhaps as a counterpoint to the calm, Amels’ Come Together puts plenty of high-adrenaline toys at guests’ disposal. You get a few quick views of the colorful SeaBobs she carries, as well as a tender to take guests to and from shore. Additionally, although you don’t see it, the yacht has DJ decks, to keep hearts pumping and the mood elevated onboard.
You can charter Amels’ Come Together for €525,000 per week this summer in the Western Med, via Y.CO. Beginning in the winter, she moves to the Caribbean, although Central and South American itineraries further should be possible. Global cruising is a priority for the owner, for personal enjoyment as well as for charter guests’ enjoyment.
