Those who treasure luxury and exclusivity can vacation aboard yachts, of course. But those who seek an even higher level of both charter some of the largest yachts in the world. They can now book an Ahpo yacht charter, enjoying six decks delivering relaxation in spades.
Having prior experience in commissioning a custom yacht, the owner—Michael Lee-Chin, a Jamaican-Canadian investment entrepreneur and philanthropist—knew exactly how he wanted to live at sea with his family. Simultaneously, he had a strong sense of how guests would like to enjoy an escape away from their work and home lives. At 378 feet (115 meters) and spanning a 60-foot (18.21-meter) beam, Ahpo has dimensions affording abundant areas to relax.
One of the best areas, in fact, is the spa. It’s arguably one of the most stunningly outfitted and intricately planned superyacht spas. Stairs first take guests down into a reception area with a bar. The choice then becomes how one wishes to relax. Should the choice be the hammam, complete with colorful mosaic tiles? Or should it be the sauna, with Himalayan salt? Instead, one could opt for a massage, or even a hair and nails sessions.
With a spiral staircase that’s akin to a sculpture, and a movie theater with photos of stars like Sidney Poitier, the superyacht stuns from room to room and deck to deck. Intricate details like hand-painted scenes of nature, hundreds of stones, and woods like walnut come together. So many areas aboard make an Ahpo yacht charter one where guests may never want to leave. Some of the staterooms even encourage close connection. The master suite, a two-level affair, has stairs that keep Moms and Dads in proximity to two staterooms for children.
Ahpo—which went by the name Project Enzo while in build at Lürssen—charters exclusively through Moran Yacht & Ship.
