Yacht Loewe Boasts Big Beach Club Window—Straddling the Waterline

A European cruising enthusiast who has owned a few yachts in his lifetime will be able to see fish and other sealife swim around underwater from a sunken lounge aboard his new yacht. He’s just christened the yacht Loewe at Tankoa Yachts.

Loewe is 180 feet (55 meters) LOA, hull number two of the Tankoa T55 Sportiva series. In fact, a little over a month ago, the yacht Rose premiered the sleeker, sportier styling of series. The series traces its origins to a conversation between the shipyard and Luca Dini of Luca Dini Design & Architecture back in 2021. Tankoa approached the studio, seeking some fresh ideas for its semi-custom superyachts.

Some of the biggest ideas that the design studio brought to the table enhance the cruising experience. For instance, since beach clubs remain popular, the design team decided to provide it with unexpected views. A large hull window aft therefore straddles the waterline. This makes the beach club’s lounge all the more inviting. Since lounges and other areas are available to arrange as they so wish, the owner of the yacht Loewe chose to prioritize wellness. Specifically, a sauna and a hammam lay inside.

Yet another experience-enhancing feature is the long, open deck space with a pool. Upper-deck areas have special touches, too. The owner of Loewe added a hot tub in his suite, plus a full-beam hot tub for guests to indulge in on the sundeck. It’s not hard to imagine the views from that spot when Loewe is at anchor.

Finally, the yacht Loewe has six staterooms, one extra compared to the first Tankoa T55 project, with an elevator making it easier to get around. Other details about the interior are not yet available.

Following delivery, the owner primarily intends to make Loewe available for charter. The Mediterranean will be her cruising grounds for the remainder of the summer.
