Yacht Project Evita Advances for Clients’ Customization

Set to achieve a top speed just over 21 knots, the yacht Project Evita stands out for her performance. She also stands out as the largest spec-started superyacht by Heesen Yachts.

With the keel laying for the 186-footer (56.7-meter) taking place in December 2024, the yacht remains on pace for completion in late 2027. The hull and superstructure joined together earlier this month. She’s the second hull in Heesen’s 57m Aluminum FDHF series. The series’ lightweight all-aluminum construction is one reason why the relatively swift top speed is possible. Additionally, the series prioritizes shallow draft, unusual for this LOA. However, it’s pretty appealing to Americans, who typically are among the yard’s customers.

Bearing a volume of 780 gross tons, the superyacht affords interested buyers full reign in internal customization. In fact, about 4,300 square feet (400 square meters) of entertainment and relaxation spaces flows throughout the three decks. Naturally, most owners will want the master suite on the main deck. With the design studio Harrison Eidsgaard, Heesen Yachts is offering a suggested layout devoting 646 square feet (60 square meters) to it. It takes up the entire 34-foot (10.5-meter) beam, too.

When the owners want to join the rest of their family for meals or fun, a few rooms are well suited. For example, the skylounge can be a mini movie theater, with a big seating area for everyone to spread out upon. Also in the skylounge, friends and family can engage in table games or enjoy pre-dinner cocktails at a bar, taking in the views directly across from their seats. Formal dining is possible on the main deck, meanwhile, in a traditional open-plan saloon and dining area arrangement. For the convenience of both the owners and the 10 further people who can come along on cruises, a glass elevator connects the three decks.

Alfresco areas are equally available to tailor. For now, Harrison Eisgaard envisions the sundeck being a three-zone chill-out area. Its design for the yacht Project Evita calls for cocktails and casual meals under the hardtop, with a perfectly placed observation lounge forward and sun lounges fully aft. Speaking of perfectly placed, an infinity pool sits on the main aft deck. It’s a change from hull number one in the series, the yacht Santosha, whose owners took delivery in 2024. They had a classic beach club.

Whatever personal touches the eventual owners put aboard, they can enjoy a wide variety of cruising options. According to Heesen, the yacht Project Evita should be capable of covering nearly 4,000 nautical miles at 13 knots.
