Bearing a bright-blue hull suitable for a sunny summer day, the yacht Silvia is in the water. The cheerful paint color is the first indication that this owner enjoys doing things a little differently.
Her owner and his team were on hand in Marina di Carrara, Italy on July 15 at The Italian Sea Group’s facilities for the ceremony. Standing four decks high, the yacht Silvia is actually the second hull in the Admiral Panorama semi-custom series for the Admiral Yachts brand. LOA: 175’6” (53.5 meters). The first project in the series, the 164-foot (50-meter) yacht Spribe, just recently saw delivery, in fact. This 53-meter Admiral Panorama yacht had her keel laying in April 2024. It followed multiple conversations between the owner’s team and the build and design teams as to how to make Silvia more suitable to his way of life.

For instance, four decks are atypical for a superyacht of her size. But, the owner wanted a dedicated area for enjoying all-around views at anchor or underway. Therefore, the uppermost deck is what The Italian Sea Group calls the Observatory Deck. It’s reachable from a stairway on the sundeck. The sundeck and the remaining three decks are all connected via an elevator. Conveniently, it allows family and friends staying in the five staterooms on the lower deck to go straight to the sundeck if they wish. The owner can enjoy a private alfresco space thanks to a balcony off his suite, on the main deck. Though no specifics are available on the décor, the owner chose RADYCA and requested a contemporary look and feel.
With a sunken pool, opening side platforms, and plenty of outdoor sunning and social space, the yacht Silvia further features diesel-electric propulsion. While at anchor, a battery bank can power all hotel loads, lasting up to eight hours. The twin MAN main engines and electric alternators can handle the air conditioning and other hotel services while cruising. This similarly allows shutting off the gensets.

Silvia is particularly special to Frank Grzeszczak Sr., FGI Yacht Group’s founder and chairman. He’s known the owner for about three decades. “I have worked alongside the owner for more than 28 years on seven deals, which three were new construction that he built and resold,” Grzeszczak says. “To be part of the entire journey—from concept and construction to today’s launch and upcoming delivery—has been incredibly rewarding.”
