The Italian Sea Group clearly sees not just the United States, but also the rest of North America as an important market. Similarly, Central and South America are in its sights. The builder believes a quite specific series from its Admiral brand is especially ripe for these customers. It’s the Momentum series, made up of long-range motoryachts. To ensure Americans and more on this side of the Atlantic know about it, Denison Yacht Sales is the exclusive representative for the three markets.
Momentum megayachts range in size from 131 to 279 feet (40 to 85 meters), comprising five LOAs in total. All bear family styling by Gian Marco Campanino. The Italian Sea Group and the designer are familiar partners. Previously, they worked together on projects such as Ouranos and Tremenda, as well as the Admiral X Force concept. With Momentum, each yacht is available with either a steel or an aluminum displacement hull. Either way, long range is of primary importance. In fact, The Italian Sea Group says range can exceed 5,000 nautical miles depending on the model and overall engineering.
Denison Yacht Sales decided to work with The Italian Sea Group for a few reasons. “The shipyard is immaculate, and they are extremely driven to raise the bar of yacht building,” comments Glynn Smith, one of the brokers focused on the Momentum series. The Italian Sea Group headquarters are in Marina di Carrara, along the Mediterranean coast. The shipyard encompasses more than 1 million square feet (100,000 square meters), too. In addition, Denison sees “a good opening in the market for a high-quality, explorer-type series,” Smith says.
In keeping with exploring the world, the Momentum series emphasizes excellent views—panoramic in some places—from inside her deck spaces. Entire glass walls make guests feel as if they are actually outside. Balconies welcome them to step out as well. So, too, do the beach clubs aboard each Momentum megayacht, and sea-level spas that open out onto the water. Of course, to stay on trend, the Momentum models additionally have swimming pools.
In sum, The Italian Sea Group says the Momentum series blends the feeling of a modern floating villa with the looks of grand cruisers from the 1930s and 1940s.
