From May 27 to 30, you can experience an Azimut Grande megayacht model virtually, while chatting live online with a sales manager to request more details. Alternately, you can schedule a private video conference, plus line up a day to see the yacht in person as travel restrictions loosen. It all happens in the new Azimut Virtual Lounge.
The Italian yacht builder is coordinating what it calls an e-boat show, since so many traditional boat shows from the winter through the summer months either cancelled or postponed. While the show starts on May 27, already, the Azimut Virtual Lounge has myriad materials to peruse. For instance, each megayacht model in the Grande Collection, Flybridge Collection, and S Collection is online. Regardless of which yacht you like, you can watch media and broker video tours, plus access technical data on beam, draft, engine packages, and more. Plus, you can learn about designers like Achille Salvagni, who has collaborated with Azimut on the Azimut Grande 32 Metri (below). among several projects.
From now through May 25, you can register for a live chat with Azimut project and sales managers during the e-boat show. So, too, can you register for a one-on-one, private video conference.
The Azimut Virtual Lounge additionally promises live events, plus already has some behind-the-scenes videos accessible.
Interestingly, Azimut calls this an inaugural event. In a press statement, the yacht builder readily admits that both the Azimut Virtual Lounge as well as the online show “spring from re-examining traditional practices and the need to adapt to a situation where meeting in person and traveling to events is suddenly not possible.” However, it also considers the approach a way to forge a closer connection to customers, both current and aspirational ones.
