A European family is already looking forward to 2026, 2027, and 2028. They’ve signed contracts for three Admiral GC-Force 70 yacht deliveries to take place during those years.
Clients of IYC, the family will have seven staterooms aboard each project. All naval architecture and styling for the Admiral GC-Force 70 projects are coming from the shipyard’s Centro Stile design division. Additionally, each yacht will have 10 crew cabins. Other than an abundance of glass, however, no other details are available in terms of creature comforts. If a slightly smaller Admiral GC-Force yacht is any hint, though, the yachts may have gyms and wellness areas. Surely, too, the master suite will be on a private deck aboard each yacht.
“The sale of the first ‘Admiral GC-Force fleet’ represents a significant milestone,” notes Filippo Menchelli, The Italian Sea Group’s chairman. “It demonstrates the trust owners from all across the globe put into our organization.”
“This ‘mega deal’ brings TISG and IYC even closer together, solidifying a relationship that started 12 years ago,” comments Michel Chryssicopoulos, IYC’s global managing partner. “We have absolute faith in the vision and goals set by Giovanni Costantino and his team. Looking forward together toward successful deliveries.”
Notably, the new contracts bring the total number of IYC-associated superyachts for the shipyard to seven. Five of those seven exceed 230 feet (70 meters), too, including two with renowned designer Giorgio Armani (below).
Overall, The Italian Sea Group’s focus is on megayachts from 164 to more than 328 feet (50 to more than 100 meters).
