Considering people buy boats and yachts to get away from their busy work lives, the name of the yacht Rilassata says it all. It translates to “relaxed” from Italian. The owners will be able to not only relax, but also entertain friends and family soon, since Tankoa Yachts just launched her.
The project is the sixth hull in the Tankoa S501 series, and the second with aesthetic, technical, and lifestyle enhancements. The first with those enhancements—which Tankoa calls the S501 EVO series—was the yacht Grey, which saw delivery in 2023. Therefore, Rilassata has an open-plan saloon and dining area, extra-large windows framing them, an elongated flying bridge, and bigger alfresco areas. All of these features are from Francesco Paszkowski Design, the same studio behind the original series.

Francesco Paszkowski Design handled interior design, too, with longtime collaborator Margherita Casprini. Since the S501 EVO series is semi-custom, naturally the owners of the yacht Rilassanta wanted a few special touches. For instance, the master suite occupies prime real estate on the upper deck. (The owner of Grey wanted it on the main deck, which is, not surprisingly, a common request.) Equally unusual, the captain’s cabin is on the main deck. It’s not fully forward, however. Instead, the foremost section of the main deck is home to a gym and a games room. A balcony deploys off this area, too.
Even out on deck, the superyacht stands out for something she doesn’t have: a pool. The owner of Grey requested a big pool for the foredeck, for example. The foredeck aboard this new launch instead has a large seating area.

As different as the overall arrangement is, the yacht Rilassanta doesn’t break with tradition everywhere. In fact, she has four guest staterooms below decks.
Bearing a beachy-beige paint scheme, the 164-footer (64.99-meter) still has to undergo sea trials. Tankoa says that she’ll embark on her maiden voyage in July, remaining in the Med.
